Karlyn Skall is an almost native of the Metro-Atlanta area (she moved here when she was three). Karlyn graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1994. She then graduated from Georgia State University’s College of Law with her Juris Doctorate in 1997. She became licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia in 1997.

Upon graduating from law school, Karlyn started her own practice in Decatur, Georgia, working in the fields of criminal defense and domestic relations litigation. Since 1997, Karlyn has expanded her practice and moved her office to Gwinnett County. As an attorney in Metro-Atlanta, Karlyn has handled cases throughout the metro area, and as far as White and Hancock Counties.

Karlyn is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been admitted to practice in the Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Northern District of Georgia. Karlyn has worked as an investigative and legal intern for the Atlanta Federal Defender Program, and has worked as a volunteer for the ACLU of Georgia.
